Spirit Airlines Boarding Zones system for boarding to make the process more organized. Passengers are assigned to different zones based on their ticket type or any upgrades they may have purchased. For example, Zone 1 is typically reserved for priority boarding, which includes those who have purchased upgraded seats or are part of Spirit’s frequent flyer program. Following Zone 1, the rest of the zones (Zone 2, Zone 3, etc.) are called in order, starting with those at the front of the plane.
If you want to board earlier, you can buy “Shortcut Boarding” for a faster boarding experience. It’s a simple way to skip ahead of the general boarding zones. It's important to keep an ear out for announcements at the gate, as this is when the zones are called. Be sure to be at the gate on time so you're not caught off guard when it's your turn to board. This system helps keep things moving efficiently and ensures that everyone gets on the plane in an orderly manner.
