Zhewitra 40 mg contains Vardenafil, a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Sudden Vision Loss (Non-arteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy - NAION): A rare but serious side effect, characterized by sudden vision loss in one or both eyes. If this occurs, stop taking Zhewitra and seek medical help immediately. Hearing Loss or Tinnitus (Ringing in the Ears): Sudden loss of hearing or ringing in the ears could be a sign of a serious reaction and requires prompt medical attention. Stroke or Heart Attack: Rarely, there may be an increased risk of heart attack or stroke, especially in individuals with pre-existing cardiovascular issues. What to Do in Case of Serious Side Effects: Seek immediate medical help if you experience any of the serious side effects mentioned above. Discontinue use of Zhewitra if you experience any signs of a heart attack (such as chest pain or discomfort, pain radiating to the arm, jaw, or back, nausea, or sweating).
