The Spirit Airlines Bogota Office at El Dorado International Airport assists travelers with bookings, cancellations, and inquiries about luggage. Spirit's international flights to and from Colombia allow one paid checked bag per customer. More checked items may be made available on a first-come, first-served basis, contingent on available space. Overweight baggage weighing more than 41 pounds (18.6 kg) and bulky goods weighing more than 80 linear inches (203 cm) will be subject to additional fees. These restrictions, which apply to items longer than 80 linear inches, are particularly strict during the Christmas season (December 1–January 10).
